Coach Kakunta reveals his plans with Green Buffaloes  

“I am very excited to be back at Green Buffaloes where I was always inspired and treated with respect and love," Kakunta said.

Green buffaloes football Club have appointed coach Dears Kakunta to be part of the technical bench. He will serve as Assistant Coach to Masauso Tembo.

Kakunta previously served as Young Green Buffaloes assistant coach and also worked as the Club’s video analysis coach.

Speaking to Bolanews, Kakunta said he was ready for the challenge and looking forward to contributing to the team’s success. 

“I am very excited to be back at Green Buffaloes where I was always inspired and treated with respect and love. I am committed to contribute to the club and to achieve its goal,” he said.

The Army Sponsored side, and five-times Zambian Champions, last season finished in 11th place with 42 points from 34 matches. 

The Nyanta boys will be hoping to put up an impressive performance as they will be seeking to return to competitive football. 

When the league begins in August, Buffaloes will take on Red Arrows, the league’s defending champions in the second week.

After regrouping for training in Lusaka, Buffaloes will camp in Mufulira to carry out their pre-season training.
