Newly signed Forest Rangers football club midfielder Clement Mulenga has vowed to help the Ndola side revive their league title aspirations for the 2023–24 Super League season.
Mulenga, has signed a two-year contract with Fole Malembe from Kabwe Warriors, with whom he assisted in securing an Absa Cup spot for the current campaign.
He played the first half of Doha Hill Stadium’s 2-1 comeback triumph over visiting Mutondo Stars on his debut.
Considering that Forest Rangers won both the Charity Shield and the ABSA Cup last season, the midfielder tells BolaNews that he is aware of the expectations from the team’s technical bench and supporters.
“Yes, I know pressure will be there because fans will be expecting a lot from us and me as an individual,” Mulenga said.
He is optimistic that the quality of the Forest Rangers squad will make it possible for the club to achieve its target for the season.
“With the caliber of players and the technical team we have here, I believe we will achieve a lot of things together as a team,” he stated.
Mulenga last played for Kabwe Warriors on November 25, 2023, when they lost 1-0 against Zanaco football Club at the Railway Stadium before joining Forest.
