Red Arrows are looking to get back to their winning ways this Saturday against Kansanshi Dynamos at the Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka after drawing 0-0 with Green Buffaloes last Sunday.
Head coach Chisi Mbewe says facing a relegation-threatened side will be difficult, but the team is prepared for the challenge.
“We know it won’t be easy against Kansanshi Dynamos,” he said. “I know they are fighting relegation. We will go into the game ready to fight and compete because we know what is at stake,” said Mbewe.
The Airmen, who lead the table with 61 points from 29 matches, will look to maintain their strong form at home to finish first in the league.
“Our focus for now is to concentrate on getting maximum points….. And we will maximise every chance we get to make sure we revive our hopes of winning the league title,” added Mbewe who is looking to win his second league title.
The coach has also confirmed that captain Benedict Chepeshi is back from injury.
“He is back and part of the 20-man squad that enters camp today, but we will wait for the doctors to give us a go-ahead if he can be part of the starting eleven,” concluded the coach.
