Striker Andy Boyeli’s goal drought may have extended to five games at the weekend but the player is confident of finding the scoring boots.

Boyeli was last season’s top scorer, boasting 18 goals to bag the golden boot.

However, the Congolese has lost sight of the goal this season. He only scored four goals in 13 matches played this season.

When it was put to him that he was having a tough season, Boyeli said the best is yet to come.

“It’s not a difficult season; this is the first round. We can talk about that when the season is done,” he said in an interview.

He conceded that he has struggled but he has not lost confidence that he will rediscover his form.

“I know I have struggled,’ he admitted. “But I know myself, what I can do, and what I can show our supporters and everyone.

“I know the supporters are disappointed about my performance; they need to encourage me. It is just time I am going to make sure in the second round.”
