Former Zambia U-20 midfielder Boston Muchindu is close to signing for Nkwazi Football Club after leaving Konkola Blades, BolaNews has learnt.
Muchindu parted ways with the newly promoted side at the end of last season following the non-renewal of his contract. The ex-Green Eagles and Nchanga Rangers midfielder is set to join the police-sponsored outfit as a free agent.
He has been training with the Lusaka-based side and has already featured in the club’s pre-season friendly matches. Muchindu is currently part of the Nkwazi squad preparing for the upcoming season.
A source close to the player disclosed to BolaNews that he is set to be unveiled soon.
“The player has already joined Nkwazi and has been training with the Club since he separated with Konkola Blades. He is fitting in very well and looking forward to start a new journey with the Club. He is set to be unveiled soon by the Club as talks and negotiations have already been concluded,” said the source.
Meanwhile, the former U-20 midfielder will be looking to impress with Nkwazi in the new campaign. Nkwazi will kick off their 2025/26 season with a tough fixture against city rivals Green Buffaloes.
