Forest Rangers head coach Ian Bakala believes his team has regained confidence and is ready to take maximum points against Green Buffaloes.
On Saturday, they will face Buffaloes at Edwin Imboela Stadium in a Week 20 MTN Super League fixture. They will go into this game after defeating Zanaco 2-0 last weekend.
Forest Rangers are currently in the relegation zone with 19 points, and a win would propel them past Napsa Stars, who are 13th on the log.
Bakala believes his side is ready to fight for the much-needed three points.
“Looking at the team, I think the preparations are okay; the way we have prepared the guys looks good. We just have to work hard against buffaloes on Saturday,” he said in a pre-match interview.
Bakala added: “The confidence is coming; they are looking good and fit. Mentally, they are getting there and looking at the motivation, I think it’s there; everyone is looking to put in 120 percent against Buffaloes.”
“We are not okay on the log. I think even the players know we just have to focus on this coming game because I think when we win the game, it’s going to give us the way forward.”
Forest Rangers are in desperate need of their fifth victory of the season. They last time they faced Buffaloes, the match ended goalless.
