After suffering a crushing loss to Power Dynamos last Saturday, Abel Kanyamuna, the captain of newly promoted Atletico Lusaka FC in the MTN Super League, believes his team will come back stronger.
In a week 7 Super League match, which took place at Arthur Davies Stadium, the Bad Boys fell short against Power Dynamos, 5-0.
Having played seven games so far this season, Atletico Lusaka has amassed nine points (10th in the standings) with victories in two, draws in three, and losses in two games.
Speaking to Bolanews exclusively, Kanyamuna believes the team has learnt from its mistakes and will correct them during the international break.
“We are better than the setback we experienced,” he said. “And we will use this break to recover, prepare and subsequently bounce back.”
Kanyamuna said Power Dynamos was a better side faced and that they will continue fighting.
“The game was very tough as we played against a very big club and it was a bad day for us, credit to Power Dynamos who won the game, we knew moments like these would come, but we always fight and rise as one.”
Kanyamuna has featured in five games for the Bad Boys after he sustained an injury during a week two fixture against Napsa and missed two games.
Atletico Lusaka will return to action after the international break when they face with Eagles.
