ZESCO Ndola Girls clinched their first-ever Eden University Women’s Super League title in emphatic fashion to write history. The team secured the 2024-2025 championship with a dominant 3-0 victory over Choma Warriors Women at Independence Stadium in Choma.

ZESCO Ndola Girls showcased their attacking prowess with goals from Marjory Mulenga, Penelope Mulubwa—who confidently converted from the penalty spot—and substitute Ruth Mukoma to seal the decisive win.

Adding to their remarkable achievement, ZESCO Ndola Girls extended their unbeaten run to an astonishing 29 league matches. Remarkably, they secured the title with five games to spare, underlining their dominance in the competition.

This historic triumph ends Green Buffaloes Women’s four-year reign as league champions, marking a shift in power within women’s football.

With their maiden title now in hand, ZESCO Ndola Girls have firmly established themselves as a new force in Zambian women’s football, setting the stage for continued success in the seasons ahead.

As champions, they will represent Zambia in the COSAFA Club Champions League, which serves as the qualifier for the CAF Women’s Champions League.
