Midfielder Prisca Chilufya, 24, has left Zambian club Red Arrows FC to join Fatih Karagumruk A.S. in the Turkish Women’s Football Super League.
Chilufya towards the end of 2022, returned to Arrows from Kazakstan side, FC Tomiris-Turan after her contract expired.
Before leaving Tomiris, she scored a double hat-trick (6 goals) in a single match and also provided two assists in the same match when they thrashed Sdyusshor17 10-0 in the Kazakstan Women’s league.
Chilufya returns to European football after a brief stint in the FAZ Women’s Super League, where she scored 10 goals in 16 games during the current 2022-23 season.
The Copper Queens midfielder is also part of the 35-member squad for Zambia that will take part in the Turkish Women’s Cup, which will kick off on February 15, 2023.

Chilufya is also tipped to make the Copper Queens’ final squad for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup set to start in July of this year in Australia and Newzealand.
Meanwhile, her move to Turkey brings the total number of Zambian female players playing overseas to 13.
Others include Grace Chanda, Rachael Kundananji, Martha Tembo, Hellen Chanda, Hellen Mubanga, Barbara Banda, Misozi Zulu, Hazel Nali, Natasha Witika, and Ireen Lungu.
