Here’s everything you need to know about the final round of qualifiers.

Angola 0-6 Zambia

Following their exemption from the first round of qualifiers, Zambia’s Copper Queens demonstrated their class and experience away from home with a 6-0 victory over Angola on Wednesday, November 29.

A Barbra Banda hat-trick and a goal each from Lushomo Mweemba, Ireen Lungu, and Racheal Kundananji gave the Copper Queens an edge over Angola.

With the second leg slated for Ndola in Zambia, they will now look to qualify for the fifth time having competed in the showpiece four times: in 1995, 2014, 2018, and most recently in 2022, where they finished third for the first time ever.

Nigeria 5-0 Cape Verde

Braces from Uchenna Kanu and Esther Okoronkwo and another goal from Monday Gift saw Super Falcons secure a comfortable 5-0 win over Cape Verde in the first leg of their second round of the 2024 Women Africa Cup of Nations qualifier played at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
