Rex Chanda, the head coach of the Indeni Roses women’s team, is not thrilled with the team’s readiness for the 2025–2026 National Women’s Super League season.
With the goal of outperforming its top four result from the previous season, the Ndola-based team is hard at work getting ready for the upcoming campaign.
The Ndola based side are busy preparing for the new season with the hope of producing a better performance than last’s season top four finish on the table.
The Rex Chanda coached side played a friendly match against Luanshya Arts Sports Academy defeating their opposition 14-0 as part of preparations for the new season.
However, Chanda feels the team has not prepared enough.
“Moreover, our preparations and interest is not more about winning games in pre-season, but lookout at how best we have prepared the team to face the challenges and the games that we will be facing this season,” he said in an interview with the Club’s media.
“I like it when players are competing for positions. We have not yet declared the team ready. We are pushing to get to that level of fitness required,” he said.
In the National Women’s League season of 2025–26, Indeni Roses will be eager to pick up where they left off.
