Green Buffaloes Women’s Football Club are preparing for the upcoming league season and the 2024 COSAFA-CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers.
After being undefeated in 34 games, the Green Buffaloes Women’s Football Club defended the Zambian Super League title.
Striker Natasha Nanyangwe, 25 has returned to full training for preseason with the army-sponsored side.
She has been on the mend due to a broken leg sustained during the 2023 COSAFA Women’s Championship.
Nanyangwe is committed to helping the squad reach its goal of CAF Women’s Champions League qualification after her recuperation.
“I will do my part in helping my team defend the league title and qualify for the CAF tournament,” she said.
Pundits consider, Nanyangwe as one of the best forwards in the Zambian Women’s super league.
“So far, so good. The team is shaping well, everyone is bringing in competition and putting in their level best in training,” Nanyangwe said.
She is hopeful through hard work, Green Buffaloes return to the regional CAF Champions League qualifiers.

“I will do my part in helping the team; and everyone has their strengths and weaknesses; that’s what makes us a team,” she concluded.
