With a history of playing for the Copper Queens, Nanyangwe is eager to compete well at the Four Nations competition. She is the current third top scorer in the Zambia National Women’s League with 21 goals.

In an exclusive interview, she acknowledged to Bolanews that the players’ competition is fierce.

“I expect tough competition first within the team because the squad is full of talent and it will be an exciting time fighting for positions in the team, “she said.

“We also expect tough competition from the opponents, they are top teams full of energy and quality, so we have to work extra hard. The competition will help us as we shape up for the WAFCON,”added Natasha.

Zambia is using the four-nation competition to prepare for the 2025 WAFCON, slated for Morocco from July 5–26.

The 2022 WAFCON bronze medalists Zambia are in Group A alongside Morocco, Senegal, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
