Witika stated in an interview with Bola News that although the season has begun on a competitive note, she is content with the amount of playing time she has received for the team thus far. She has played in each of the Delta Queens’ five 2025 games.

She goes on to say that this season, she wants to score a lot of goals to help the club finish in the top three.

“The season has started on a high note, but I want to help the team as much as I can by scoring many goals, lot of assists and to help qualify for super six and go for CAF Women’s Champions League,” she said.

A league winner with Bayelsa Queens, Witika explained that the club has set its ambitions high this season, and the players are working hard to attain the set goals.

“Only My Performance Will Speak For Me ” – Witika.

“The competition for players is high at the club and the coaches have set the targets for us, which is to play in the Super Six and eventually make it to the CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers. I’m working hard to make the squad every week,” Witika stated.

The former Zesco Ndola Girls midfielder last featured for the Copper Queens in the COSAFA Women’s Championship in 2022. She says consistency in performances will be key for her to be considered for the national team by new Copper Queens coach Nora Hauptle.

“I need to just work hard and be consistent. Additionally, it is only the performances that will speak for me because that is just the only way to make it to the national team,” she added.
