The Copper Princesses are one win away from advancing to the 2024 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifying stage, where they may face Algeria or Morocco.
Morocco defeated Algeria 4-0 in the first leg of their match, giving them an early advantage in the opening leg between the two Arab countries.
Prior to the match, Copper Princesses coach Carol Kanyemba promised fans to look out for a good match at Heroes Stadium on Sunday.

Zambia scored through Bwalya Namute Chileshe and Ruth Mukoma to give coach Carol Kanyemba, an advantage before the second leg.
Chileshe netted the opener in the 3rd minute and Mukoma sealed the victory twenty minutes before regulation time.
On May 17, Zambia will travel to Kitende, East Africa, to play the Teen Cranes at St. Mary’s Stadium. The 2024 U17 Women’s World Cup will be stage in the Dominican Republic.
