Women’s Super League side ZISD Football Club has recalled defender Jackline Chomba following the expiry of her loan agreement with Zesco Ndola Girls.
In a statement, ZISD confirmed that the loan deal, which allowed Chomba to feature for Zesco Ndola Girls, formally ended on December 31, 2025.
As a result, the player is no longer eligible to train or take part in competitive matches for the second-placed Ndola-based side.
The Lusaka outfit revealed that it made several attempts—about a month before the agreement expired—to engage Zesco Ndola Girls on the possibility of either renewing the loan or converting it into a permanent transfer.
However, the club said it did not receive any official response.
“Due to the lack of communication regarding the player’s future, ZISD Football Club has recalled Jackline Chomba with immediate effect,” the statement read.
“Chomba, who featured in all of Zesco Ndola Girls’ matches, is now available on the transfer market, inviting interested clubs to submit formal offers” said ZISD Club General Secretary, Elijah Jani Lungu.
