Bayern Munich defeated Paris Saint Germain(PSG) 0-1 at the Parc des Princes in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 thanks to a second-half goal by Kingsley Coman.
PSG’s Kylian Mbappe came off the bench in the second half and had two goals ruled offside.
The French giants’ woes worsened as they lost their third game in a row.
Despite the defeat at home, Mbappe insisted that their Champions League campaign was far from over.
“We showed that we can make it difficult for them, but in order to do that, we need everyone to be healthy,” he told Canal Plus France after the game. “For the second leg, the important thing is that we’ll all be fit and that we eat and sleep well.”We know that when we’re all there, we can play attacking football and they won’t be comfortable.”

Mbappe who surprised everyone by returning to the pitch despite a left thigh injury stated that he wanted to assist his teammates.
“I wasn’t meant to play, but I wanted to help my teammates,” he said
PSG has now lost five of their 11 games in all competitions in 2023. This is more than they did in all of 2022 when they only lost four games.
They will return to Ligue 1 action on Sunday when they host Lille.
Meanwhile, AC Milan also defeated Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 in the other Champions League round of 16 matches.
