On Wednesday, Arsenal make their return to Champions League football as they take on Club Brugge in their quest to extend their unbeaten run in the competition.
Gunners look to maintain their perfect start to the league campaign as they remain unbeaten.
In the domestic front, Arsenal suffered a painful defeat suffered at the hands of Aston Villa, and will be hoping to redeem themselves in the Champions league.
However, their last victory against Bayern made it five wins in five matches.
The Gunners have proven to be good travelers in their away matches and will be looking for a positive result on Wednesday night.
Speaking to the media in a press conference ahead of the match, Arsenal Manager Mikel Arteta said his lads are looking forward to the match.
“Absolutely, especially when you play a competition like the Champions League and how much we want to continue to do the job that we have started in the first five games,” he said.
“We are going to have our opening match against an opponent that has been very, very good. They have a new manager, and a new manager always brings new energy and new ideas. So we have prepared for that as well,” added the coach.
The Gunners will face Wolves on Saturday in the Premier League action.
“And we have to show again that we are right at the top and be better than the opponents in this game,” noted the coach.
