Zambian winger Lameck Banda will have a new coach next season following the appointment of Roberto D’Aversa as US Lecce coach.
This follows the departure of Marco Baroni after a contractual disagreement. He was crucial in Lecce signing Banda in a season which saw the club survive relagation.
Under Baroni Banda made 36 appearances in all competitions and scored twice while recording one assist.

Lecce went on to survive the drop finishing 16th in the League standings with 36 points.
D’Aversa, a former Parma and Sampdoria coach has signed a one-year contract with Lecce.
His deal comes with an option to extend if he keeps them in the top flight next season.
“The coach has signed a one-year contract with an option to extend in the event of safety from relegation being achieved,” reads part of the statement.
D’Aversa was previously sacked by Sampdoria in January last year, halfway through his first season at the club.
However, Banda, who was not a regular starter under Baroni, will look to impress under a new manager and cement his place in the team’s starting eleven.
