Rangers FC opted to offload the Zambian winger to Saudi Arabia despite being one of the key players for them last season.
Sakala was one of three players to contribute to 20 goals in all competitions for the Glasgow-based outfit, scoring 12 and setting up a further eight.
However, these outstanding performances did not guarantee a permanent place for the Chipolopolo winger, who joined Al Fayha FC in August.
In a recent interview with Rangers Review, Sakala expressed disappointment regarding how he was treated by his former manager, Michael Beale, and the club hierarchy. The transfer came as much of a surprise to the Zambian striker.
Despite the summer ordeal, Sakala is still a keen follower of Rangers FC and continues to express his unwavering love for the club and its fans.

During his stay at Ibrox, Sakala won the 2021-22 Scottish Cup, where he registered three goals and an assist in five games en route to the final.
The Zambian winger has been enjoying his best football in Saudi Arabia. He propelled Al Fayha FC to their first-ever AFC Champions League knockout stage in their maiden season in the competition.

Sakala has already scored 10 goals and provided six assists in all club competitions this term.
