Chipolopolo striker Fashion Sakala scored his 11th goal for Al Fayha in the Saudi Pro League on Tuesday night in his side’s 1-2 loss to Al Wehda.

The former Rangers FC attacker scored in his 25th league appearance for Al Fayha, and he has an impressive 14 goals and 7 assists in 35 appearances since joining the club in August last year, including three in the AFC Champions League.

Sakala has played 301 games for Spartak, KV Oostende, Rangers, and Al-Fayha since leaving Zanaco in 2017, scoring 95 goals and assisting 41 times.

However, his goal last night meant he had broken his record for league goals in his debut season for any of the four clubs he joined after leaving Zanaco.

He scored the most goals in his first season with Spartak Moscow, ten in 31 games. The 27-year-old scored only five league goals in his first season at KV Oostende while netting nine in 30 appearances for Rangers.
