Despite dropping six points in their last two matches, Lumwana Radiants head coach Allan Kamwanga has not given on his boys to fight till the end and secure promotion to the Zambian Premier League.
Lumwana Radiants has failed to maintain consistency this season.
On Thursday, in a midweek fixture, Lumwana recorded their 9th defeat of the 2025-26 season after they lost 2-1 to Locus FC at Lumwana grounds.
Lumwana has now moved to 7th place on the log standings with 48 points from 29 matches played so far.
They have managed to win 14 games, draw 6, and lose 9 games in 28 games played so far.
However, despite dropping points in their previous matches, Kamwanga is confident his boys will bounce back.

“I strongly believe, and I feel we just have to win the remaining six games without any excuse. That’s the only way we are going to qualify for the Super League. Looking at our preparations and the way the boys are playing, it’s very much possible we can win all the remaining six games. Our only aim for now is to qualify for the Premier League,” the coach said.
With only six games left before the league comes to an end, the North Western side will need to win all their remaining matches to stand a chance of securing promotion to the Super League.
