Obvious Mwaliteta Junior, a Zambia U20 midfielder who recently inked a three-year contract with Aguila Stars, says he wants to establish himself on the field for the team.
At his new club, Aguila Stars, Mwaliteta says he is excited to show off his skills and make his National Division League debut.
Mwaliteta reveals that he likes playing with an attacking mentality, to bring more energy to the Eagles’ attack.
“My strength is I’m going in there to play, to win, just to have fun, be in the game. I love to think differently from other number 6s. I would say I don’t like to hold—I love to push the ball in front, more energy when attacking,” Mwaliteta said.
Additionally, he mentions that one of his strengths is recovering the ball when not in possession.
Mwaliteta has noted that the National League will be a different platform that will require more hard work.
“I would say I’m very good at recovering. Anyways, the Eagles are going to see what I bring to the table as the next match comes. I come from an academy called Cabs, which has really helped a lot of us players,” Mwaliteta stated.
“I don’t like to talk too much because actions speak louder than words, so I’d say, wait to see. And would love to meet the fans, basically, because I’ve never really played with, like, a lot of fans.
“At that level, maybe it would be a different stage for me. I have played on other levels, but playing with Aguila is a different story and the league that we’re in.”
The 18-year-old is expected to make his debut this when Aguila Stars face Kafue Eagles in Kafue this weekend.
