This season in the Zambia National Division One League, Bestone Chambeshi, the former coach of the Zambian U20 national team, has not lost with his Konkola Blades team.
After Sharp Razor was relegated from the Super League the previous year, Chambeshi is motivated to lead Blades back to the top division the following year.
Konkola Blades won their seventh straight league game over the weekend, defeating Kafue Celtic 1-0.
After three straight victories, second-place Kansanshi Dynamos, led by another former Nkana star, Zeddy Saileti, defeated Aguila Stars 1-0.
Over the weekend, Chambishi and Kafue Eagles defeated Chipata United and Jumulo, respectively, to record their first victories of the year.
In Kalulushi, Chambishi defeated Jumulo 1-0, and in Eastern Province, Eagles defeated Chipata United with four goals.
Eagles striker and former Zesco United striker, Maybin Kalengo scored a hattrick to become the first player, in the Zambia National Division One League, to do so this season.
Kitwe United beat Trident 1-0, Mines United and Prison Leopards overcame River Plate and Ndola United by 2 goals apiece.

Blades lead Kansanshi by five points with 21 points. Mpulungu Harbour, in third position with 14 points, easily defeated Leopards Hill, who were absent at home. With ten points, Prison Leopards are in fourth place.
