National Division One side Chambishi have fired coach Isreal Mwanza after a poor start to the season.
The club’s quest to return to the Super League has seen them act quickly, send Mwanza to the farm in a bid to improve results.
As of week Three, Chambishi had not registered two draws and one defeat.
“Chambishi football Club management wish to announce that Coach Israel Mwanza has mutually separated with the club,” a club statement read on Friday.
Club media director, Keegan Chibuye thanked Mwanza for his services
“The club would like to thank Mwanza for his work during the time at the club and wish him success in the future,” he said.
Evans Mwaba, the first assistant coach, will act as head coach in the interim. The search for new head coach is underway.
