ZPL National League side Forest Rangers Football Club has announced the appointment of Boyd Mulwanda as its new Head Coach, signaling a fresh start as the club aims to return to the MTN Premier League.
Mulwanda, who was until his appointment an assistant coach at Nchanga Rangers FC, will be assisted by Kennedy Kashobondo as First Assistant Coach, while the remainder of the technical bench remains unchanged.
In a move to strengthen its administrative operations, the club has also appointed Raphael Bwalya as its first full-time Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
“This newly created position will enhance efficiency and professionalism in the management of club operations. Having served the club for over eight years, Mr. Bwalya brings invaluable experience and deep institutional knowledge to his new role,” read the club statement in part.
The club expressed its gratitude to outgoing Head Coach Matthews Ndlovu and First Assistant Coach Mr. Dennis Makinka for their dedication and service, wishing them success in their future endeavors.
Forest Rangers, who were relegated from the Super League last season, are currently fifth in the National League, having won four and drawn four of their matches so far this season. They remain unbeaten after eight weeks of the campaign.
