The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) and FredRobie Concept Zambia have agreed to a five-year partnership worth K1.5 million, which will see each team in the National Division One playoffs receiving K100,000.
The sponsorship deal was signed on Tuesday morning at Football House in Lusaka.
FAZ president Andrew Kamanga described the deal as a strong partnership that will change how the National Division One playoffs are conducted.
“What we are witnessing today is the signing of a strong partnership, which will see a paradigm shift in the way the National Division One Playoffs are conducted beginning next season, “Kamanga said during the signing ceremony at Football House.

He added: “Under this partnership, FAZ will pay the clubs that qualify for the playoffs a total sum of K100,000 as recognition for winning the league in their respective provinces.”
The K100,000 will be presented at the end of the season to assist teams in preparing for the National Division One Playoffs, in which four teams qualify for the National Division One League.
