Ahead of the 2026-27 season, Nchanga Rangers FC has become the first club to launch a new kit in readiness for the upcoming transitional MTN-FAZ Super League season.
The kit has the home, away, and alternative jersey in three colors: blue, yellow, and white.
Club president David Mukelabai explained that unveiling the kit is one way of planning for the new season.
Mukelabai expects the jersey will bring a lot of energy and focus for both the men’s and women’s teams.
“This unveiling of the new jersey is an exciting time for us as we plan for the next season. So it’s one of the steps that we have taken in preparation for the new season that is yet to come,” Mukelabai said.
He adds, “So we are excited about the launch of this new jersey because it will bring a lot of energy and it will bring a lot of focus.”
“The kit means a lot” – Mukelabai.
Mukelabai adds that the kit is a symbol of loyalty and identity, adding that the badge carries a lot of pride and history. He urged the club supporters to continue backing the team in the upcoming season.
“This jersey is more than just a kit because it represents loyalty; it represents identity, but also the badge is carried with a lot of pride, and it has a lot of history associated with it,” Mukelabai explained.
“So for us it means a lot. It is important to launch the kit this time because it’s very important for us to build excitement and set a tone for the coming season. So thank you so much for the continued support that you’ve shown in the past season and also the support that we expect to see going forward,” he concluded.
