All is set for Zambia’s National Division One Playoffs

On Sunday, in Lusaka, 10 Women teams will compete for four spots on the way to the FAZ Women's National League.

Everything is ready for the Football Association of Zambia National Division One Playoff following yesterday’s drawings in Lusaka, the country’s capital.

Copperbelt Province champions Ndola United are scheduled to play Muchinga Blue Eagles, Malalo Police, Cayots Rangers, and Chirundu United, according to the draws.

On June 16, Ndola United plays their first game of the campaign against Malalo Police. The following day, they take on Muchinga Blue Eagles. After that, United will play Chirundu United, before hosting Cayots Rangers in the championship match.

River Plate is in Group 2 and has an opportunity to take the top spot, but they will have to contend with a formidable group that includes Nangweshi Pirates, Mines United, Young Kansanshi Dynamos, and Katete Rangers.

The playoffs, with the theme “Making Zambia great together,” will take place at Heroes and Sunset stadiums from June 16–21.

Group 1

Malalo Police, Cayots Rangers, Chirundu United, Ndola United, Muchinga Blue Eagles

Group 2

Nangweshi Pirates, Mines United, River Plate, Young Kansanshi Dynamos, Katete Rangers.

On Sunday, 10 teams will compete for four spots on the way to the FAZ Women’s National League. The playoffs will be played at NASDEC and Bank of Zambia Sports Complex(s).

Samfya Rockets (Luapula)

Miracle Rangers (Copperbelt)

Nakonde Titans (Muchinga)

Chitapankwa Youth Academy (Northern)

Driven Queens (Central)

Group 2

Luena Queens (Western)

Mapesho Women’s FC (Northwestern)

MUZA Queens FC (Southern)

Chikonaty (Lusaka)

Valley Queens (Eastern)
