World Champion, Leo Messi, has kept fans all over the world guessing where and which club, would be his base in the coming soccer season.
This comes after current club, Paris Saint Germain, announced that the French Ligue 1 side will not renew his contract. Many where convinced the 2022 world cup champion would make a return to the Camp Nou but that now seems highly unlikely.
Earlier this year Xavi stated: “Messi knows that Barcelona is his home, and the doors are open, I said these many times”.
“He’s my friend — we are in permanent contact; a potential return will only depend on him. Leo is the best player in history, he’d always fit in”.

After an unauthorized trip to Saudi Arabia, that led to his suspension, Messi may have already played his last game for the French outfit. At this point it seems everything is set for the South American to start a new life elsewhere.
The 7-time Ballon D’Or winner aired his views on the matter stating, “I want to apologize, of course, to my teammates, to the club.”
He further added “I honestly thought we had a day off after the game as we have done throughout the weeks before, sorry for what I did and I’m waiting for whatever the club decides.”
Could Messi, Ronald rivalry ignite in Saudi?

Messi scored 31 goals in 71 appearances for the French giants. He has a record of 805 goals throughout his illustrious career.
This move could spell the end of Messi’s playing career in Europe. Could this be a continuation of the bitter rivalry that exists between him and Cristiano Ronaldo who plays for Saudi’s Al-Nassr FC?
