Red hot Zambian attacker and 2022 CAF female player of the year award nominee Grace Chanda is on the wanted list by a Spanish Primera División de la Liga de Fútbol Femenino club who want to sign her from Kazakhstan side BIIK Kazgurt where she has been outstanding after a season.
According to A&V sports agency’s Takumi Jeannin, the 25-year old arrived in spain on Saturday and could sign a two years deal with Madrid CFF , this comes shortly after she became the first Zambian to score a hattrick in the UEFA champions league history when she found the back of the net three times for BIIK Kazygurt who thumped Croatia’s ZNK Split 5-1 last week.
Chanda could join her fellow Zambian , Racheal Kundananji who was also signed by Madrid earlier this month and will look to replicate her performance from the national team and Kazakhstan in the spanish women’s league.
She has been one of the most outstanding African female footballers since last season as she captained the copper queens to their maiden FIFA women’s world cup after reaching the semifinals of the women’s Africa cup of nations where she scored three goals.
