With Kante already set to miss the 2022 FIFA World Cup after undergoing surgery, reigning world champions, France have received a major boost ahead of the tournament with the return of Paul Pogba.
Pogba who has been away since the start of this season returned to training with Juventus after suffering a knee injury during pre-season.
Chelsea yesterday confirmed that Kante will be out for four months, a thing that many French fans are not happy with as the calm midfielder will now miss the World which is set to kick off this November.
Kante played a key role for Les Bleus in their 2018 success in Russia and will be a big miss for the French.
However, Pogba’s return will be welcomed as it gives Didier Deschamps more options in midfield, and hope that the former Manchester United player will be able to replicate his performance at the last tournament in Qatar.
Juventus posted the return of Pogba on their social media platforms and confirmed the midfielder was back in training.
The 29- year old’s return is equally at a good time for his club who have struggled so far this season and are currently eighth on the League standings having only recorded four wins from 10 games.
