England and USA meet for the third time at the FIFA World Cup this evening.
From their two previous meetings at the World Cup, the USA won one game 1-0 in 1950 while the other game ended in a draw in 2010 and the two will have scores to settle as they renew their rivalry.
The two last met in a friendly game in November 2018 and England won 3-0 with Trent Alexander Arnold and Callum Wilson scoring for the Three Lions.
The Three Lions, however, head into their second group match tonight knowing a victory will secure a place for them in the last 16 while the USA who drew 1-1 with Wales in their first match will also look to increase their chances of advancing to the next round.

Bukayo Saka(England): The winger has been superb and has so far scored two goals in the ongoing tournament. He also scored 3 goals and provided one assist in England’s five matches in the World Cup qualifiers.
The Arsenal youngster has scored 7 goals and provided 7 assists this season in the English Premier League and will definitely be a thorn in the USA defenders’ flesh.
Timothy Weah( USA): The son of Africa’s only Ballon d’Or winner and incumbent President for Liberia George Weah has scored the USA’s only goal in their opening match against Wales and the 22-year old who plies his trade at french side Lille will be the danger-man tonight.
