Paris Saint-Germain stormed into the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup final with a stunning 4-0 demolition of Real Madrid in New Jersey, delivering a dominant performance from start to finish.
The French giants took control early, racing to a 3-0 lead within the first 25 minutes of the semi-final. The opening goal came in the 6th minute when Ousmane Dembélé capitalized on a defensive lapse, setting up Fabián Ruiz to slot home the first. Just three minutes later, Dembélé got on the scoresheet himself, punishing another mistake from Antonio Rüdiger.
PSG’s relentless momentum continued as Ruiz grabbed his second of the night in the 24th minute, calmly finishing off a fluid team move to make it 3-0.
Real Madrid looked disjointed and overwhelmed throughout the first half, struggling to cope with PSG’s aggressive press, midfield dominance, and quick transitions. Thibaut Courtois was called into action repeatedly, making several important saves to prevent further damage.
Despite Xabi Alonso’s efforts to reorganize Madrid’s defense, tactical tweaks had little effect as PSG continued to control proceedings. The Parisians dictated the tempo and exposed Madrid’s vulnerabilities at every turn.
The second half offered little relief for Los Blancos. Luka Modrić was introduced in the 64th minute in a desperate attempt to spark a comeback, but it was already too late.
PSG capped off their clinical display with a fourth goal in the 87th minute, sealing a one-sided affair and their place in the final, where they will meet Chelsea in a highly anticipated showdown on Sunday.
