Manchester United coach Ruben Amorim and skipper Bruno Fernandes are relishing their side’s fourth-round FA Cup tie against Ruud van Nistelrooy’s Leicester City on February 8.
A 10-man United made it to the next round of the FA Cup after seeing off Arsenal 5-3 on penalties following a 1-1 draw in regulation time and extra time.
The win has set United up against former interim boss Ruud van Nistelrooy, who leads Leicester City. The match will be played at Old Trafford, the stadium where the Dutchman starred as a player and more recently as an interim coach.
“Yeah, I want to see Ruud, I talked with him before I came, I am looking forward speak him [again] he is a class guy but we need to win, maybe he will be divided. He loves this club we will see, we need to win,” he said.
United have already beaten Leicester twice this season; ironically, both wins came when van Nistelrooy was in charge of the team.
Meanwhile, skipper Fernandes said the Dutchman will get a good reception in the tie.
“It is a place that he [Nistelrooy] knows, he will be well received not only by the fans but also by the players also, we have big love for him for everything he did for us from the time he was here,” he said.
