African players have left an impression on Europe’s football scene throughout the 2022–23 season, whether it is in the renowned UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Europa League, or the most recent UEFA Europa Conference League.

Cameroonian shot-stopper Andre Onana will have to be at his best to stop Haaland and co. from running riot and this season, he has made the most saves (44) in the Champions League.

3.Youssef En Nesyri (Sevilla and Morocco)

The Moroccan is Sevilla’s top scorer in the Europa this season with four goals. A brace in the final against AS Roma from the striker could secure him a Golden Boot.

4. Yassine Bounou (Sevilla and Morocco)

The FIFA ‘The Best’ Goalkeeper finalist has been a mountain at the back for club and country this season. Sevilla could claim the Europa title if he manages to keep a clean sheet against AS Roma in Budapest.

5. Mady Camara (Roma and Guinea)

The Guinean midfielder will head into the final, knowing that he is under the stewardship of a serial winner in Jose Mourinho, who has under his belt, the UEFA Champions League, and the Europa League including the Europa Conference League.

9. Sofyan Amrabat (Fiorentina and Morocco)

Over the past six months, he has defended himself against players like Kevin de Bruyne, Bruno Fernandes, Pedri, and Casemiro, thereby attracting interest from FC Barcelona and other European sides.

10. Christian Kouame (Fiorentina and Ivory Coast)

Fans will be divided over whether to support Fiorentina’s Kouame or West Ham’s Cornet as they compete to become the first player from Ivory Coast to win the UEFA Europa Conference League gold medal.

11. Alfred Duncan (Fiorentina and Ghana)

The Ghanaian midfielder has only made two substitute appearances for Fiorentina in the UEFA Europa Conference League this season.
