Newcastle Vs Southampton

Newcastle United host Southampton in the second leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final at St Mary’s Stadium.

With a 0-1 aggregate advantage, Newcastle is getting closer to capping their extraordinary rise with a trophy they haven’t won since the FA Cup in 1955.

However, Southampton is also seeking to become the third team in Carabao Cup history to reach the final after losing the first leg at home.

Meanwhile, the Magpies are unbeaten in their last six meetings with Southampton at home.

In their last nine games against Southampton, Newcastle have won seven, tied one, and lost one.

The Saints will also be hoping to turn things around and win a trophy this season. They are currently rock bottom in the Premier League standings and in danger of being relegated.

Newcastle head into this match-up as the favorite. They have not lost in any of their 13 home games this season in all competitions.

Newcastle will surely make an effort to get to the final tonight; they are unbeaten in their last four games and now sit third in the league standings with 39 points.

BETTING TIP: Newcastle to win with 0-2 goals in the match.

ODD: 3.35
