Ghanaian forward Mohammed Kudus has been in prolific form for his club side, Ajax this season, making 38 appearances in all competitions scoring 18 goals and five assists.

He represented Ghana at the 2022 world cup, scoring twice in the competition against South Korea.

And Kudus is reportedly keen to make the move to the Premier League this summer.

Manchester United and Arsenal are believed to be closely monitoring him. Other reports suggest that the 22-year-old has also attracted the attention of Real Madrid and Liverpool.

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, English sides Manchester United and Arsenal have made concrete moves at this stage, for the player.

“It looks like an open situation for Mohammed Kudus, things could happen with him this summer.” Romano wrote in his column for Caughtoffside.

Ajax is in a strong position to keep Kudus, as his current deal ends in 2025. However, the Dutch side is prepared to let him go at the right price this summer.

On 16 July 2020, Kudus signed for Eredivisie club Ajax from Nordsjaelland for €9 million, on a five-year contract. He made his official debut for the club on 20 September in a league match against RKC Waalwijk. Then, Head coach Erik Ten Hag now Manchester United manager subsequently called Kudus a player with “incredible potential”.

While at Nordsjaelland, Kudus made 80 appearances in all competitions, scoring 23 goals and creating nine assists in the process.
