It’s been a meteoric rise for the Gunners who are a point away from being at the summit of the English Premier League table having only lost once this season to Manchester United in the League and drew with Southampton.

Today they head to Stamford Bridge for the London derby Chelsea football club in what has been described by many as the match of the weekend.

Graham Potter’s Blues will head into this match after suffering an embarrassing 4-1 defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion FC in their last Premier League while Arsenal are coming from a win over Nottingham Forest.

In regards to the tasty affair between the two protagonists of London.

Overall, Arsenal has won more games in the rivalry’s history, having won 80 times to Chelsea’s 66, with 59 draws.

In last season’s campaign, the Gunners got the better of their arch-nemesis away from home when Eddie Nketiah who was a former academy player for the Blues scored twice in a thrilling match that ended 4-2 at Stamford Bridge.

Should Arsenal be worried about Gabriel Jesus’ inability to find the net?

There seems to be a scarcity of goals from Arsenal’s number 9 who started the campaign in blistering form, this has nothing to do with the midfield’s inability to create chances, perhaps the Brazilian has been guilty of failing to tack home the opportunities presented to him but what makes him an asset to his teammates mostly, is his ability to influence the game without making it on the score sheet, his assisted on five occasions in the Premier League, his creativity definitely counts for something and his work ethic is also another attribute that makes him an essential part of Arsenal’s attack.

Old friends meet

There is no doubt that Aubamenyang holds a special place in the hearts of many Arsenal supporters after an exquisite start to life in North London for the African Great that saw him score on his debut against Everton but as the years went on in North London, the frontman who eventually became Arsenal’s skipper began to misfire and later fell under the perking order mainly due to disciplinary reasons which led to the termination of his contract.

Now a lot has changed since then but is it safe to say no love will be lost when the former Gunner rendevous with his ex-teammates and boss Mikel Arteta.

Who will be the happiest of the two sides come to the end of the entire 90 minutes?

Arsenal will genuinely feel they have enough to beat Chelsea but they will surely be looking over their shoulders because anything is possible when the two meet, both teams will display some mouthwatering sequences of attack but whose defense will concede or perhaps the game might end in a stalemate.

BETTING TIP: Derbies are very unpredictable. Chelsea wont give it to Arsenal easily and vice versa, Try Double Chance 12 @1.32 for either teams to win.
