Former Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann and Marco Silva are both being considered by Chelsea FC as early contenders for the vacant coaching job.
Nagelsmann was sacked by Bayern Munich during the international break but could make a return to management with Chelsea as he is widely regarded as the favorite to land the job.
Several reports suggest that the 35-year-old is leading the way in the Blues’ search for a new boss.
Despite the interest from Chelsea, Nagelsmann is also wanted by Tottenham Hotspur to replace Antonio Conte.
According to Italian football transfers Journalist, Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea has already approached Nagelsmann to be the new head coach.
It’s also reported that talks between Nagelsmann and Chelsea continued and a final decision will be made soon.
Meanwhile,Chelsea confirmed yesterday that Bruno Saltor will take charge of the team as interim head coach.
Potter became the 13th managerial departure of the season in the Premier League this season.
His reign ended after only six months, with only seven victories in 22 games.
