Patson Daka scored and assisted on his first start of the season for Leicester City in the English Championship, propelling the Foxes to a 4-0 victory over Plymouth. Daka’s goal was his fifth in his last three games for club and country.
The Copper Queens striker scored her seventh goal of the season for Madrid CFF. With this goal, she has now scored 18 goals for both club and country in 2023.
FASHION SAKALA
Sakala scored once more in the Saudi Professional League, this time in Al Faiha’s 4-1 loss to Al Taawon. Despite the loss, Sakala’s prolific individual brilliance increases his tally to 7 goals with 10 total goal contributions, including three assists.
GHAMPANI LUNGU
The Zambian international also scored for Supersport United against Libya’s Al Hilal Benghazi in the CAF Confederations Championship. The goal, however, was insufficient to give Supersport United their first win of the season, as they were defeated 2-1.
FRANKIE MUSONDA
Despite losing 1-0 to league leaders Dundee United, Musonda was instrumental and showed great resilience in his second game for Ayr United since returning from injury.
