China-based defender and 2012 Africa Cup of Nations winning defender, Stoppilla Sunzu has been recalled to the Zambia National team for the first time in 3-years.

The Cangzhou Mighty Lion FC defender who already has 64 official senior Chipolopolo appearances has made the cut in the 24-member squad released by stand-in coach Moses Sichone which also includes enterprising under-20 Cosafa-winning goalkeeper Jeban Tembo who recently graduated to the under-23 National team that qualified to the final round of the Morocco 2023 Africa Cup of Nations after beating Sierra Leone to set up a date with Egypt.
