Leicester City have confirmed that Patson Daka will leave the club at the end of his contract next month.
The Zambian striker departs alongside 10 other first-team players, including Ghana international Jordan Ayew, whose contracts have also expired.
Daka brings an end to a five-year spell at Leicester City, during which he made 165 appearances, scored 29 goals, and provided 18 assists since joining from Red Bull Salzburg in 2021.
During his time at the club, the Chipolopolo forward won the Community Shield and helped Leicester secure promotion by winning the English Championship title. He also leaves as Leicester City’s all-time leading scorer in European competitions with six goals.
With his contract nearing its expiry, Daka has continued to attract interest from clubs across Europe. Spanish sides Valencia CF and Sevilla FC are reportedly monitoring his situation, while Turkish outfit Samsunspor have also emerged as potential suitors.
According to reports from Transfermarkt, Samsunspor are keen on signing the Chipolopolo striker as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of next season.
Daka recently told BolaNews that he is currently weighing his options as he prepares for the next chapter of his career following his departure from Leicester City.
