Kings Kangwa returns to Israel, joins Hapoel Beer Sheva

Kangwa has left Red Star Belgrade two years into his contract to join Hapoel.

Chipolopolo midfielder Kings Kangwa has joined Israeli Premier League side Hapoel Beer Sheva FC from Red Star Belgrade on a four-year deal worth around €800,000.
 
The midfielder who spent the reminder of last season on loan at Belgian top-flight side KV Kortrijk, returns to Hapoel six years after playing in the club’s youth team during the 2017/2018 season, where he scored nine goals in all competitions.

The 25-year-old leaves the Serbian champions, two years into his four-year contract which he signed in July 2022 from Russian Premier League’s Arsenal Tula, where he made 55 appearances, scored six goals, and nine assists.
 
Since moving to Serbia, scored 12 goals and 9 assists in 56 appearances across all competitions to win bother Serbian league and cup twice.

“I’m excited to return to a club where I played in the past and it gave me many tools that have helped me throughout my career. I have great memories of the club and the city, and I’m sure I’ll fit in here again soon,” Kangwa said after being unveiled.
