Both of them are successful professional athletes, with Daka representing English football club Leicester City and Suwilanji Mpondela serving as a sprinter under the National Olympic Committee of Zambia’s Athletes Commission.
In 2019, she was voted the inaugural chairperson of the Athletics Commission at 19 years old, becoming the youngest ever African to achieve that feat.
The lovebirds officially got married on November 22, 2022, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
