Francisco Mwepu- Spain
Francisco Mwepu, who spent last season on loan at Atlético Sanluqueño, scored a 94th-minute equaliser to help Cadiz CF draw 2-2 at home to Tenerife in a Spanish Second Division on Saturday. It was in his first competitive game of the season.
Before being loaned out, Mwepu became the first Zambian to play in La Liga during the 2022/2023 season.
Edward Chilufya- Denmark
Edward Chilufya has continued to impress for Danish club FC Midtjylland after his return from loan at BK Hacken. On Sunday, the rapid forward, who started the game, assisted his team’s first goal, which came four minutes after kickoff in a 3-1 victory over Silkeborg IF in the Danish Super League.
Chilufya has now contributed directly to six goals in his last eight games (2 goals and four assists). This makes him Chipolopolo’s most in-form player so far this season.
Lameck Banda- Italy
Lameck Banda played the first 75 minutes for the US Lecce team, which defeated Cagliari Calcio 1-0 on Saturday to win its first Italian Serie A match. His countryman Kingstone Mutandwa was an unused substitute for Cagliari.
Lubambo Musonda- Germany
Chipolopolo captain, Lubambo Musonda, played the entire game and assisted the final goal as FC Magdeburg defeated FC Nürnberg 4-0 away in a German second-tier match on Saturday. With the win, Magdeburg moved up to third place in the table, with eight points from four games, two points behind leaders Dusseldorf.
Musonda now has three assists in five competitive games for Magdeburg across all competitions.
Miguel Chaiwa- Switzerland
