Kennedy Musonda took his goalscoring form with the Chipolopolo Boys to the NBC Premier League, netting for Young Africans SC in their 2-0 win over Namungo FC on Saturday. The Zambian striker, who has been linked with a move away from the Tanzanian champions due to limited game time, scored his second league goal of the campaign in as many starts.

Emmanuel Banda started for Al Tai in their 3-0 thrashing of Al-Safa in the Saudi First Division on Saturday. In Israel, Songa Chipyoka‘s Hapoel Petah Tikva put five goals past Hapoel Hod Hasharon in the State Cup, while Gift Mphande and Hapoel Rishon Lezion bowed out of the competition after a 1-0 loss to Ironi Modiin.

Frankie Musonda made a 15-minute cameo for Ayr United as they downed Greenock Morton 2-0 in the Scottish Cup. South Africa-based duo Gamphani Lungu and Moyela Libamba came off the bench for Supersport United and Golden Arrows, respectively, during the weekend’s action.

Kingston Mutandwa did not take to the field for Cagliari Calcio on Friday, while Francisco Mwepu and Benson Sakala were unused substitutes in Spain and in the Czech Republic, respectively.

Edward Chilufya missed Midtjylland’s 3-0 triumph at Vejle due to injury while Lubambo Musonda and Miguel Chaiwa continue to nurse long-term injuries.
