Power Dynamos striker Moses Shumah insists the team can still turn the tables in the return leg against Rivers United if they work hard and develop a strong character.
The Zambian champions played out a goalless draw against Nigeria’s Rivers United on Saturday at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
Power Dynamos are still searching for their first win of the campaign after three matches so far.
The Aba Yellow are currently bottom of the table with just one point collected in the CAF Champions League.
The Kenyan striker came on as a second-half substitute, replacing Fredrick Mulambia in the 64th minute.
Moses has so far scored three goals in the CAF Champions League campaign, while he has netted seven goals in the domestic league.
Speaking exclusively to Bolanews, Moses believes the team can still win away from home.
“For me, there is nothing impossible. We just need to put in the work during training and show the right character, and we will get the result we want,” he said.
“It was a tough match, but the understanding with my teammates was good. At least we got a draw. When we go back to Nigeria, we will be looking for a positive result, at least three points,” added Moses.
Power Dynamos will face Rivers United in the return leg on January 31 as they seek to revive their chances of progressing in the competition.
