On Saturday night, Thomas Tuchel started his reign as Bayern Munich coach with a 4-2 victory over Bundesliga title rivals Borussia Dortmund.
The Bavarians scored three times in 10 first-half minutes, with Thomas Muller grabbing a brace, plus an own goal from Gregor Kobel, and Kingsly Coman scoring the fourth goal.
Emre Can and Donyell Malen netted consolations goals for the visitors.
The result meant that Bayern leapfrogged Dortmund who were at the summit of the Bundesliga table by two points.

Meanwhile, despite the impressive victory, new Bayern Munich head coach Thomas Tuchel believes his team still needs to improve.
“It’s not about Thomas Tuchel style or whatever. We need to adapt to a better rhythm,” he said. “We need to understand ourselves better to control the match better. And we want to have more ball possession. We want to have more control of the game than we had.”
Tuchel added that for them to maintain the top spot in the Bundesliga standings, they have to deliver every week.
“The win means that we are on top of the table. It means we are where we want to be. Now it’s a race to the end…… We have to deliver once or twice a week. That is the life at Bayern Munich, but we have it in our own hands, and that’s what we want,” Tuchel explained.
