Christian Saile, a former Nchanga Rangers winger, has piqued the interest of South African club SuperSport United, which is reportedly looking to hijack Chippa United by signing the Congolese striker.
SuperSport United is currently in talks with Kaizer Chiefs to persuade them to accept a transfer offer for Saile, according to SABC Sports.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Kaizer Chiefs were planning to release Saile to make room for another international striker they wanted to sign.
Saile has struggled since moving to South Africa, making only six appearances for Kaizer Chiefs this season.
He joined Kaizer Chiefs from Nchanga Rangers on a three-and-a-half-year contract but has struggled for playing time, appearing in 49 matches for Kaizer Chiefs, scoring 6 goals and assisting three times since 2022.
Prior to joining Chiefs, Saile helped Nchanga Rangers earn promotion to the Zambian Super League by scoring 19 goals and winning the National Division One League Golden Boot award.
He was sold for K7.5 million (around $270,00) by the club, as exclusively revealed three ago by BolaNews.
